Bella Wedding AI uses artificial intelligence to provide recommendations, suggestions, and planning assistance. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content should be verified by users before making important decisions.
Understanding Our AI Features
Our platform incorporates AI technology in various features including but not limited to:
- AI Wedding Assistant — conversational planning help at /ai (uses OpenAI gpt-5-nano)
- AI Vendor Matching — natural-language vendor discovery (e.g. "rustic outdoor barn") (gpt-5-nano)
- AI Contract Analyzer — uploads PDF/DOCX vendor contracts to OpenAI for clause extraction + red-flag detection
- AI Music Recommendation Engine — generates ceremony + reception playlists from your vibe inputs
- AI Image Generator — produces visual mockups for decor concepts, save-the-dates, and invitations using OpenAI gpt-image-1-mini
- AI Seating Chart Optimizer — suggests optimal guest seating arrangements
- AI Vow Writer — generates personalized wedding vow drafts
- AI Hashtag Generator — generates wedding hashtags from couple names + vibe
- AI Vendor Email Generator — drafts professional emails to vendors across 12 vendor types
- AI Proactive Tips — context-aware planning suggestions throughout the dashboard

This is general informational content, not professional business, financial, culinary, or consulting advice — vendors remain solely responsible for their own pricing, staffing, food-safety, licensing, and compliance decisions

Limitations of AI
- Not Professional Advice: AI suggestions are not a substitute for professional wedding planning, legal, or financial advice.
- Accuracy: While our AI is trained on extensive data, it may occasionally provide inaccurate or outdated information.
- Context: AI may not fully understand your unique circumstances, cultural requirements, or personal preferences.
- Vendor Information: Vendor details, pricing, and availability should always be verified directly with the vendor.
Your Responsibilities
When using AI-powered features, you agree to:
- Verify all AI-generated recommendations before making decisions
- Independently confirm vendor credentials, licenses, and reviews
- Review contracts and agreements with professionals before signing
- Use your own judgment in all wedding planning decisions
- Report any AI errors or concerns to our support team
Vendor Recommendations
Our AI vendor matching system considers factors including:

- User ratings and reviews (when available)
However, AI recommendations do not constitute an endorsement. We do not guarantee vendor quality, availability, or suitability for your needs.

AI FEATURES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT AI RECOMMENDATIONS WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR PURPOSES.
IN NO EVENT SHALL BELLA WEDDING AI BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR RELIANCE ON AI-GENERATED CONTENT OR RECOMMENDATIONS.
Data Use in AI
When you use an AI feature, the data you submit to that feature (e.g. your guest list when generating a seating chart, your uploaded contract when running the contract analyzer, your chat messages with the AI Wedding Assistant) is sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) so that it can produce a response. That data is used to:
- Personalize recommendations based on your preferences + wedding details
- Provide contextual assistance throughout your planning journey
- Log usage for cost tracking + abuse prevention (admin-only access)
Important: Bella does NOT train AI models on your data, sell your data, or share it with third parties for marketing. We use OpenAI's API, which under OpenAI's standard API terms does not use your inputs to train their models. Conversation history is retained only as needed to give the assistant context within your session.
